Our Environment Our Existence

Abdullah Al-Mehdi's 'Our Environment Our Existence' opens with a curious tale about foreigners who arrived in the Peace Land claiming to discuss business. Their real intentions were far different. In their home country, crimes like theft, robbery, murder, and vandalism had spiraled out of control. The king struggled against a tide of criminals, with jails overflowing and the economy buckling under the cost of maintaining prisons.

Desperate for a solution, the king decided to exile his criminals to a distant land where no one would ever want to return. He dispatched his men across different countries to find such a place. The story sets up an intriguing premise about how this search unfolds and what it reveals about the relationship between people and their environment.
